Christmas

Thank you for a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable week in the wonderful Calf Shed. I can not remember the last time I spent a holiday in such beautiful surroundings, both inside and out. Your attention to the needs of wheelchair users also really made everything easy for once. I do hope that there will be other disabled guests who will have the opportunity of taking advantage of the excellent design of the calf shed.

Thank you for an amazing weekend, The Calf Shed is beautiful, and we can not wait to stay again. Caitlin

The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean and so well equipped. We had a marvellous time here, and I am sure we will be back. We enjoyed nice walks along the track at the back and in the area – so lovely to wake up to the sun coming up over the Fovant Military Badges.

Good luck with the new accessible Calf Shed project, thank you for everything, Wendy Blythe

March 2015

We would just like to say a big thank you, the cottage was perfect a real mix of modern facilities and character just what we wanted to kick start our holiday. The cottage was lovely and cosy and easily catered for our family of sixes needs, we would have no problem in recommending to others or staying again ourselves when we come back to the UK to visits next time. Fantastic holiday home, with so much to do. Wilton House for the big slides, Stourhead for the lake and Wardour Castle were favourites. As for pubs so many to visit. The Compasses at Chicksgrove, the Crown in Tisbury, Barford arms, The Angel at Hindon, the Beckford Arms at Fonthill, to name just a few. The Pick your Own at Ansty is very good value, especially the strawberries. Wiltshire is a superb county with so much to do, rainy days do the Fleet Air Arm at Honiton, and the Tank Museum at Bovington are particularly good. Gillie is just the best hostess, always attentive, never intrusive. A real delight to stay here.
